A tired looking hotel in a stunning rural setting with big ambitions to cater for the local community whilst also drawing in guests from further afield wanting to benefit from the amazing location, décor, food and first-class service. It will be THE place to go whether that is for a bite to eat as you walk or cycle past taking in the stunning scenery or call in for a cocktail (or few), fine dining or celebrate an event in the restaurant, one of the 2 private dining rooms or the function room. The theme running throughout the designs and menu creation has been "I was not expecting that!"
The project is nearing completion and I can't wait to share more after images with you as the above is just a taster of what to expect.
Working closely with the client, architect and wider team it was important to ensure the “I was not expecting that” resonated throughout the designs for the hotel, restaurant, private dining areas, function room and newly built café.
The hotel is going through a complete transformation with every room being brought up to date, walls moved to make more desirable spaces, areas reconfigured and added to. Services included special planning, developing overarching design concepts followed by detailed design concepts for the whole property, specifying products and supporting the procurement process.
The designs are bold, and each space has its own identity whilst working cohesively and are getting some great write-ups
