Every client and every building is different, and your needs will help shape the approach I take to your interior design project. I am passionate about creating interiors that are uniquely different and uniquely you.
The interior design process generally entails the following and it has been created to ensure that:

  • I fully understand your requirements and you have complete confidence working with me.

  • I get to know your building intimately, ensuring that my designs perfectly complement both you and your property.

  • you have a design which is uniquely different.

  • my approach is adaptable and personal to you and your design goals.

  • it is a collaborative process and I encourage you to share your thoughts.

The process is usually staged as follows, however our uniquely different service will always be tailored to suit your requirements.

1. Let's Talk

Embarking on your project will be incredibly exciting but it can also feel overwhelming, especially if it has been a long time in the making. My no obligation chat is a great way for you to get to know me, the way I work, talk about your project and see how I can help make your dreams become a reality.

If you are keen to work together, the next stage is to arrange a Design Workshop so that we can get into the nitty-gritty of your project.

2. Design Workshop

The Design Workshop is designed to get into the detail of your project. It should be held at your home or the property the project is based on where possible. During the 2 hours we will go through your design aspirations, the requirements for the space, the scope of work and your expectations. It is a great opportunity to assess the work involved and answer any outstanding questions you may have.

The Design Workshop costs £349 (excludes stages 3, 4 and 5)

(Additional travel costs may apply dependent upon the location of your property).

* For a commercial property this will reflect who your target market is whilst ensuring that your brand shines through.

3. Site Survey And Spatial Planning

The site survey and spatial planning is an integral stage irrespective of whether there is any remodelling, extension or reworking of your property to ensure the size and space is fully realised and chosen elements are fit for purpose.

Spatial planning and reviewing floor plans to determine the optimum layout for the room.

4. Detailed Design

Design concepts and an FF&E are then produced based on the spaces outlined in the design brief.

I really do welcome feedback, so if there are any elements that need changing or alternatives sourced I will go through all the information with you to finalise the design. One free revision per room is included in your price should you need it.

5. Project Management

If time is an issue for you then I can manage the crucial final stage however the designs I have created and your design pack will allow you to undertake this work yourself. I understand this is often the fun part of the project and something you may want to have direct control over, and whilst I would be delighted to help you with it, that is very much a personal choice. Conversely, for many, this part of your journey can be one long headache in which case let me help alleviate this burden.
I have extensive experience at managing projects which can be combined with my turnkey offering where I will oversee everything including dressing and styling your rooms ready for you to return home to.
