Every client and every building is different and your needs will help shape the approach we take to your interior design project. We are passionate about creating interiors that are uniquely different.
The process we generally follow is detailed below and it has been created to ensure that:

  • we fully understand your requirements and you have complete confidence working with us.

  • we get to know your building intimately ensuring that our designs perfectly complement your property.

  • you have a design which is uniquely different.

  • our approach is adaptable and personal to you and your design goals.

  • it is a collaborative process and we encourage you to share your thoughts.

The process is staged as follows however our uniquely different service will always be tailored to suit your requirements.

1. Let's Talk

Embarking on your project is incredibly exciting but it can also feel overwhelming, especially if it has been a long time in the making. Our no obligation chat is a great way for you to get to know us, the way we work, talk about your project and see how we can help make your dreams become a reality.

If you are keen to work with us the next stage is to arrange a Design Workshop so that we can get into the nitty-gritty of your project.

2. Design Workshop

The Design Workshop is designed to get into the detail of your project. It should be held at your home or the property the project is based on where possible. During the 3 hours we will go through your design aspirations, the requirements for the space, the scope of work and your expectations. It is a great opportunity to assess the work involved and answer any outstanding questions you may have.

At this stage it is important to understand your budget, any planning considerations and timescales you are working to. All of this information helps shape your project and our proposal.

Following the Design Workshop you will receive:

  • a detailed proposal outlining the total cost of completing your project broken down into work and payment stages.

  • inspiration boards representing what we believe to be your style preferences, taking into consideration all the information we have received from you.*

The Design Workshop costs £297 (excludes stages 3, 4 and 5)

(Additional travel costs may apply dependent upon the location of your property).

* For a commercial property this will reflect who your target market is whilst ensuring that your brand shines through.

3. Site Survey

Once you have approved the proposal and paid the first invoice we will carry out a site survey.

The site survey is an integral stage irrespective of whether there is any remodelling, extension or reworking of your property to ensure the size and space is fully realised and chosen elements are fit for purpose.

  • Detailed measurements will be taken and floor plans drawn up.

  • Spatial planning to assess each area to establish the optimum layout is chosen and the space is fully utilised.

  • Full audit of items to remain to ensure any items sourced fit comfortably and complement existing pieces.

4. Detailed Design

Design concepts are then produced. Included in the design pack are:

  • presentation boards (sometimes referred to as moodboards) depicting the proposed design scheme for each space.

  • detailed product specifications often called furniture, fixtures, and equipment (or FF&E) which outline the product, price, stockist, delivery time etc. per item selected for each room/area. This is a useful tool to understand how and where your budget would be spent.

  • a floor plan for each space indicating the layout for the room and placement of items.

The information produced at this stage supports the engagement of suppliers and service providers to turn your dreams into a reality and produce schedules of work for any contractors (builders, plumbers, electricians, bespoke furniture, soft furnishings and curtain makers etc).

We really do welcome feedback, so if there are any elements that need changing or alternatives sourced we will go through all the information with you to finalise the design. One free revision per room is included in your price should you need it.

Once the designs are agreed we will email the final design pack to you.

5. Project Management

We would love to remain involved during this crucial final stage however the designs we created and your design pack will allow you to undertake this work yourself. We understand this is often the fun part of the project and something you may want to have direct control over, and whilst we would be delighted to help you with it, that is very much a personal choice. Conversely, for many, this part of your journey can be one long headache in which case let us bear your burden.

We have extensive experience at managing projects which can be combined with our turnkey offering where we will oversee everything including dressing and styling your rooms ready for you to return home to.
