We were definitely braver with our colour and material choices and we are delighted with the outcome.
Fast forward 18 months and with my mum being diagnosed with MND we decided that we needed to refurb a ground floor guest suite into a dedicated accessible space for her. I was keen to make this a positive experience for mum and was adamant that I didn't want the space to feel like a hospital room.
